Depok, Indonesia. The place i live, the place i breathe, this place is where i belong. Depok City officially formed in 1999.Depok area includes 6 subdistricts : Pancoran Mas, Beji, Sukmajaya, Limo, Sawangan and Cimanggis. Our land has a very special fruit that we can proud of. The StarFruit.

The most famous type of our Starfruit is a StarFruit of God. Or Indonesian people called it as "Belimbing Dewa". This fruit was invented by a Depok's Farmer Fruit Cultivator, Mr. H. Usman Mubin. The color of this fruit is usually a yellow-gold or orange and surely containing very high amount of Vitamin C and A. Vitamin C is a highly effective antioxidant, acting to lessen oxidative stress, a substrate for ascorbate peroxidase, as well as an enzyme cofactor for the biosynthesis of many important biochemicals. Vitamin C acts as an electron donor for eight different enzymes. While Vitamin A Vitamin A plays a role in a variety of functions throughout the body, such as Vision, Gene Transcription, Immune Function, Bone Metabolism, etc.

The biggest one from StarFruit of God's could reached 0,8kg. The sweet taste from this fruit is a perfect cure for hypertension, diabetes, stomache pain, etc. These fruits are perfeclty developed at Depok. Cause of depok's climate is very suits for them to grow. Starfruit of god farmed mainly at Tugu Village, Kelapa Dua. The potential of Starfruit agriculture in Depok until the year of 2007 reached total amount of 33,729 with a total Starfruit farm of 135 ha area spread in the area of Depok. Starfruit plants also estimates that by the age of more than 4 years, they could have producted 100-150 kg starfruits per tree per year. Plus the fact there are 27.500-28.000 productive tree like that in Depok. It means depok can provide around 2700 - 3000 tons every year. Its 2,700,000 - 3,000,000kgs!! Huge number isnt it? The value is large enough for an urban agricultural products. If we estimate that the price of one kg of Starfruit God Rp10.000, then the each year earning sales would be in range from 16-24 BILLION RUPIAHS!! That's a huge number for an urban agricultural products.

Another effort to improve the value of our products is by increasing the quality of product processing itself. Although the processing effort in horticulture is still low, but the socialitazion training in the field given by Depok Goverment, has motivated micro-entrepreneurs to process a horticulture products. So, they can keep the quality of their products, our Star Fruit of God at it highest level.

Dian Al Mahri Mosque or more famous as The Golden Dome Mosque is a Mosque is built by Dian Al Mahri, an infamous woman who doesnt want to get interviewed by any press. What's make it so special? The Dome! Besides that this Masjid (Mosque in indonesian language) has a wide complex of area. Be located at the edge of the road-Cinere Raya preordered in the district of Limo, Depok, Indonesia.


This Mosque surely got a very strategic location. With all of those better points instead of the ordinary ones, make it's function slowly turned from a place for praying for Moslem day-to-day became a destination for family vacation.Five of Its domes are made of Gold.

Dian Al Mahri Mosque has 5 Domes. One main dome surrounded by 4 small domes. All of these domes are made of pure Gold and Crystal Mozaic. The shape of the dome remind us with Taj Mahal's (The biggest mosque at India). The Main Dome has a diameter of under 16 meters, diameter of 20 meters middle, and diameter of high 25 meters. Meanwhile, the four small domes has the small dome has a diameter of under 6 meters, 7 meters in the middle, and high 8 meters. Inside the mosque, there is a hanging lamp that was imported directly from Italy weighing 8 tons. There's also beautiful reliefs painted above. The relief decoration which painted at the above of priest's place was very special. They were made by 18 carat gold. In general, the architecture of the mosque are following the typology of mosque architecture in the Middle East with the dome characteristic, minaret (tower), a page inside (Plaza), and the use of decorative detail or decoration with geometric elements and the Obelisk, to strengthen the characteristics of Islamic architecture.

Dian Al Mahri, the one who owns this mosque, or her complete name Hj. Dian Djuriah Maimun Al Rasyid, is a Banten Entrepreneur, which has been buying this land since 1996. She built this Mosque since 2001, until the end of 2006. She published it at the last day of the year 2006, 31 Desember 2006. Maybe she wanted to give a New Year's gift for Indonesian people. With it's 50 hectar area, this building occupy an area of 60x120 meters r about 8000 square meters. The Mosque itself can accomodate more than 20,000 of congregations. Makes it claimed as the biggest mosque at South East Asia.
